Welding
All aspects of welding and some accident repairs carried out. Welding repairs done to a high standard with both Mig and Spot welders.
As much rust is cut out as possible to prevent further corrosion problems and new panels are painted with an anti-rust zinc primer internally before fitting. We will not fit bodge up panels like oversills as these just seal in rust creating more problems at a later date.
In addition welded seams are coated with a weld through primer before final fitting.
Any overlapping panels, or those with open seams are seam sealed to prevent moisture ingress and those prone to stone chips (i.e. sills and underwing areas) are zinc primed and sprayed with anti stone chip coating.
If requested we can also treat the repaired areas with Waxoyl or similar to further discourage corrosion.



We can also carry out small paintwork repairs, but resprays are entrusted to a local body shop that we have used for several years, and that have a low bake oven to ensure a quality finish and no subsequent paint problems.

Servicing
We offer servicing and general repairs/gearbox rebuilds etc.
As well as the usual replacement parts, a full service incorporates a thorough check over of the car, including condition of the brake system, bodywork and suspension. We can then advise on any work required for the MOT test and what will be required in the future to keep the car safe and reliable.
If the car has not done many miles since a major service we can carry out an interim service at a lesser cost.
Regardless of mileage a Mini should have an oil and filter change at least once a year (or at a maximum of 5000 mile intervals), using a quality 20/50 engine oil. In addition all the grease points should be attended to.
